Our products are sourced mainly from free roaming alfalfa fields from Oaxaca and Puebla. They provide a natural and eco friendly protein source. 

We are committed to bring you the best natural products to help you achieve your health goals while promoting environmental sustainability.

 

While Crickets are the popular choice, we have been eating free roaming grasshoppers for generations.  

Meet the founders

With 28 years of experience in the food industry, Hector Martinez has led different teams in many different companies. Being a Managing Partner for a major corporation gave him the business acumen to start Green Hopper in 2024. In 2021 he went backpacking throughout the world for 3 years, giving him a different perspective on food and sustainability. Upon his return, he was ready to start Green Hopper. 

His partner, Leyver Ramirez, has spent the last few years sharing Oaxaca with the world. Developed his own brand of Mezcal, and created the best connections in his native land in Oaxaca. He works together with the farmers to produce the best products. 

Together they strive to create a sustainable chain of products.
